How to find us

We offer a complimentary pick up on arrival at the airport or harbour but if you wish to find your own way, here are the directions.

From the airport… drive out of the car park and turn right onto the road towards St Anne.  Keep going straight on keeping left where the road forks and continue into Marais Square (the Marais pub is on your right as you enter the square).  Go straight across the square and up the Venelles (Venelles des Gaudions), a little narrow road to begin with, and keep going until you reach a junction where the road takes a left hand turn, with a track ahead and a property driveway to the right.  At the next crossroads within 100m turn right into Longis Road (Rue de Longis), the telecommunications pylon will be on your left just as you turn into Longis road.   Keep on going all the way down Longis Road to Longis Bay – as you start coming down the hill you will see the sea and Longis Beach ahead of you.  Go straight on at the Nunnery Crossroads, then you will have  the beach on your right (behind a high concrete wall) and the common to your left.

We are the fifth house you will see on the common after the Nunnery Crossroads.  At the entrance to our driveway there is a large upright granite stone and opposite the turning is a bench.  Follow the drive up through the trees to the house and park towards the right as you enter the parking area.  Please drive slowly up the drive as our dog, Bob, will probably come running as you arrive.

From the harbour… head up Braye Street (one way) and pass by the Braye Beach hotel on  your left.  Just after you pass Jeans Stores on your right take the left hand turn at the junction and  go along the Lower Road with Braye Common and Braye Beach on your left.  Leaving the beach behind you head up the hill and turn right at the next junction, crossing over the railway line (if the train is running, there will be warning signs on the road).  At the next junction with the Nunnery roman fort ahead of you turn left and follow the road with the beach to your right and the common to your left. Then see paragraph above.
