Getting around the island
Transport on the island is not essential and many people choose to walk everywhere as it is refreshing to be able to do so. Les Pourciaux Cottage is 1.5 miles and approx 45-50 minutes walk to the centre of town, and around 35-40 minutes to the Braye Harbour area. Alternatively you may choose to rent a car or hire bikes (pedal power or electric) for all or part of your stay. Taxis are also available. It is always advisable to pre-book your taxi to the airport on the day of departure, and at peak times it is advisable to pre-book car and bike rental.

In peak season Alderney Tours runs a bus service between the campsite, Nunnery/ABO and town. Check the Visit Alderney website for information.
